Diploma thesis deals with the basic marketing strategy analysis of manufacturing firms and then suggestions for its improvement. The work is divided into two main parts.The first part is devoted to contemporary marketing, which includes a comparison of financial and human resources. In the second part describes the design of marketing strategy and its implementation. The thesis also deals with the optimization of the system. The aim is to set a marketing strategy to increase sales, profits and also to define the cost of marketing the company. Outcome of this work is to reveal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats and detailed steps that may include not only financial and human resources but also the abilityand know-how. The work is to provide an integrated form of the current marketing strategy, detailed descriptions of its functionality.

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to tourism promotion via Pinterest.com and its advantages. Covered is the base of an online tourism market as well as an issue of website optimization from eighter the search engine and the end customer points of view in concern to apply these to a practical use of a platform Pinterest.com, which is also introduced. The thesis is divided into two logical sections - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part explains basic principles of Marketing in Tourism Industry, follows a description of Online Marketing and provided guidance of Pinterest practical use. The practical part analyses options of usage of this application as supporting force for overall tourism industry marketing, included the prediction of future evolution and opportunities for improvements identified. In addition, the practical part contains also a questionaire with regard to acknowledge and analyze Pinterest users' needs and requirements.

This bachelor thesis deals with the identification of the impact of Internet development on customer behavior and electronic commerce and as a consequence on the tourism industry. The first part deals with the development of the Internet, its main functions and the fields of application. Next part is devoted to defining e-commerce, current trends in the online market, illustrate the importance of electronic commerce for the tourism industry. In this work is further analyzed the position of the online tourism market, customer behavior and business, factors affecting this market, current trends and future developments are anticipated. The main outcome of this work is the verification of hypotheses: The development of Internet usage responds to changes in online tourism market and causes changes in the tourism market; The largest share of the online tourism market is represented by the airlines.
